The Brussels Choral Society is a wholly volunteer, not-for-profit, symphonic choir dedicated to bringing audiences in Belgium and Europe the best of classical and modern choral music.

We invite you to support BCS with tax-deductible donations through the Friends of the Brussels Choral Society Fund, managed by the King Baudouin Foundation (KBF). Donations above 40 euros per year benefit from a 45% tax reduction for the amount provided.

BCS seeks your support as it strives to expand its extensive repertoire, provide a platform for established as well as up-and-coming soloists, engage a range of high-quality conductors and orchestras, perform in new venues throughout Belgium and abroad, engage voice coaches for workshops to further enhance the quality of its singing, and support members through a solidarity fund. The Management Committee of the Fund, independent of BCS and overseen by KBF, will use the donations to support BCS in these efforts.

This support will allow BCS to bring symphonic choral music to a wider, younger, audience, enriching and advancing the art and culture that so benefit our societies.

In addition to staging its own concert performances, the Brussels Choral Society is available for a wide range of engagements and collaborations with musical partners.

Whether you require a symphonic choir for an outdoor music festival, a performance of a popular or lesser-known work or to sing at a corporate event or the opening of a venue, the BCS would be delighted to discuss your project with you.

What a pleasure to meet the Brussels Choral Society and to work together on a tango programme. I have met a charming group of singers, very well organised and eager to get to work. Congratulations on the concert and all my best wishes!

Gabriel Hollander / Musical Director – Etesiane

In 2014 I had the great pleasure to collaborate with the Brussels Choral Society for the first time. I remember that day as a very special evening at the beginning of my career as it was my first 'big' concert with more than 120 people on stage. As always, they were fantastic and it was an impressive feeling for me! That day was the start of a fruitful journey with different and demanding repertoires, always well prepared and guided by their maestro Eric Delson.

David Navarro Turres / Musical Director – Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra

I was so happy to hear the BCS with the EOB at the Christmas concert in December 2013. Everything you could want from a good choir had gathered there: beautiful shades while maintaining a true intonation, also rich colors and a rigor worthy of professionals. The diction also pleasantly surprised me. As for volume, strong nuances are never garish but still good sound while keeping a nice roundness.

Jacques Vanherenthals / Artistic Director – Ensemble Orchestral de Bruxelles

I am always struck by the roundness and warmth of the vocal sound of the Brussels Choral Society. Their Gloria by Poulenc was presented in a particularly refined style.

Eric Lederhandler / Musical Director – Nuove Musiche

Connect with our audience

The Brussels Choral Society consistently draws capacity audiences to its concerts in BOZAR and other venues in and around the capital. In addition to continuously attracting new listeners, the choir enjoys a faithful core of followers who never miss our performances.

A few moments spent in the company of a BCS audience reveals that all generations are well represented; indeed, the choir’s balance of both young and more experienced singers ensures that our promotional publicity and in-concert materials reach professionals of many nationalities, industry sectors and walks of life, including the European institutions and the international business community.

Concert visibility and long-term relationships

The BCS offers you a unique opportunity to associate your brand with a successful and highly regarded player on Belgium’s musical scene and to reach a large and attractive audience. Full, half or quarter-page adverts are available in our attractive concert programmes, which are distributed for free.

We also enjoy developing long-term relationships, which present many opportunities to build creative associations between the choir and its supporters and partners. We are happy to discuss possible cooperation and partnership models, from special events and anniversary celebrations to private drinks receptions at our Bozar performances.
